CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR A LOW COST PLASTIC ULTRA-SOUND WATER METER An ultrasonic flow meter is described which comprises a pipe having two ends, electronic circuit, a first housing housing the electronic circuit, a second housing housing the pipe , and a plurality of ultrasonic transducers connected to an external surface of the tubing in the second housing. The first wrapper is impermeable to water, where the second wrapper is not. The two ends of the tubing protrude from the second housing. Each transducer is covered by a respective cap and sealed from the water inlet. Each transducer is connected to the electronic circuit by a respective pair of wires. |
