abstract COOLING COOLING DEVICE AND HOT-COOLING METHOD.The present invention relates to a cooling device and a cooling method for a hot-rolled strip wherein the strip can be uniformly cooled from a leading edge to a trailing rear edge. refrigerant by properly carrying out a large cooling capacity and a stable cooling zone. Specifically, the following three methods are adopted. (1) Round nozzles (14) to eject rod-like refrigerant flows inclined to one side downstream in the direction of strip travel (12) and round nozzles (14) to eject rod-like refrigerant flows inclined to one side. upstream in the direction of travel are arranged on an upper side of the strip (12) so as to oppose each other. (2) Round nozzles (14) for ejecting refrigerant streams similar to the inclined stem on the upstream side of a table roller conveyor (9) just above the roller conveyor table (9) and round nozzles (14) to eject slant-like refrigerant streams from the downstream side of the roller conveyor table (9) above the roller conveyor table. rollers (9) are arranged on the upper side of the strip 12 so as to oppose each other. (3) Bottom cooling nozzles (19) for ejecting refrigerant from between roller conveyor tables to a bottom surface of a strip (12) are provided on the underside of the strip (12) and cooling nozzles (14) for ejecting streams. rod-like coolant inclined from the upstream side of a position where the ejected coolant from the lower cooling nozzles (19) collides with the strip (12) above the position and cooling nozzles (14) to eject streams similar to the side rod Downstream from the position above the position are arranged on the upper side of the strip (12) so as to oppose each other.
