PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF POLYSULPHONES. The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of polysulfones having a yellowing index according to DIN 6167 of less than 19 and polyether sulfones having a yellowing index according to DIN6167 of less than 30, according to which polymerization it is carried out in aprotic solvents, basic with the use of a mechanical stirrer passing it close to the wall. This invention also relates to polyether sulfones and polysulfones obtainable for the first time by this process and the use of such polymers for the production of molded bodies, films, membranes and foams. |
