abstract | GLASS FOUNDING OVEN AND GLASS FOUNDING PROCESS. The present invention relates to a glass casting furnace with a bathtub (5) and an upper furnace (1) with an oven cover (4) and a total internal length ("Lg"), with a pre-cut region. -heating (16) for cargo material (14) and with a combustion chamber (19) with burners (20). To achieve the objective of presenting a glass smelting furnace and an operational process for it, whereby the legal requirements for environmental overload limits are respected, without harming economic profitability and without the need for processes, installations and additional operational teams according to the invention it is proposed that: a) between the preheating region (16) and the combustion chamber (19) be disposed a single radiation wall (15), through which the length ("Lv") of the preheating region (16) is limited to values of 15 to 35% of the total internal length ("Lg") and the length ("Lf") of the combustion chamber (19) is expanded to values from 65 to 85% of the total internal length ("Lg"); b) the preheating region (16) is designed for preheating of the cargo material (14) exclusively internal to the furnace c) a gas source for the oxidizing gas contains an oxygen percentage of at least 85 per (d) at least one outlet (18) from the preheat region (16) for exhaust gases without intermediate connection of a heat exchanger is connected to the atmosphere. |
