abstract |
Filter Assembly and Method of Manufacturing The present invention relates to a filter assembly comprising a filter membrane comprising natural, synthetic and / or hybrid fibers. A stabilizing structure formed of a non-metallic material may be inserted into the filter membrane. The stabilizer structure may be configured to provide filter membrane support to maintain the filter membrane in a generally flat configuration. according to a particular embodiment, the filter membrane may be comprised of at least first and second fibrous webs which are coupled together. In this embodiment, the stabilizing structure may be arranged between and coupled with the first and second fibrous webs. |
