Methods and formulations are provided for preventing or alleviating the dryness of dermal or mucosal membranes. The compositions are formulated into aerosol sprays, delayed-release formulations, vaginal douches, creams or suppositories, all of which include eriodictyon fluid extract. The formulations may additionally contain other components such as lubricants, preservatives, bronchodilators, choleretics, antibiotics, topical anesthetics, coloring agents, emulsifiers, and the like. |
