abstract |
The invention relates to a method for producing a composition containing mixed oxides that contain gold- and/or silver particles and titanium and silicon and that have been surface-modified in such a way that the composition supports groups selected from the following: silicon alkyl groups, fluorine-containing alkyl groups or fluorine-containing aryl groups; on its surface, to the compositions produced according to this method and to the use of said compositions in methods for the selective oxidation of hydrocarbons in the presence of oxygen and a reduction agent. The catalytically active compositions present consistently high selectivity and productivity. |
