The invention relates to novel ionomer polyurethane thermoplastics (PUT) whi ch can be obtained by reacting aromatic or aliphatic diisocyanates, difunctiona l polyols, chain extender glycols and anionic ionomer extender glycols, at a high temperature and for a reduced period of time. The ionomer PUTs thus obtained can be handled, stored and transported. Moreover, said PUTs can be used easily to obtain aqueous dispersions of ionomer PUTs which are suitable for numerous applications, such as for industrial adhesives and covers for flexible and rigid substrates. |
