titleOfInvention | Device for dynamically controlling a water flow |
abstract | The invention relates to a device for dynamically controlling a water flow, comprising the following items in a body: a feed chamber, a discharge chamber, and a piston which is arranged between the feed chamber and the discharge chamber and which is placed on one side of the pressure of the feed chamber and on the other side of the pressure of the discharge chamber. The piston can be displaced from a first position, which is offset towards the feed chamber and wherein the piston narrows the flow between the feed chamber and the discharge chamber, and a second position, which is offset towards the discharge chamber and wherein the piston does not narrow the flow between the feed chamber and the discharge chamber, and a return spring which impinges upon the piston in the first position. According to the invention, said piston passes through a passage which extends from the feed chamber to the discharge chamber and a flow limiting means is provided in order limit the flow flowing through the passage. The return spring is dimensioned in such a manner that the effect thereof corresponds, essentially, to the force which inclines the piston to be displaced from the first position into the second position if the maximum flow exiting the flow limiting means is withdrawn. Preferably, the piston is secured in a displaceable manner with the first end in the feed chamber and with the second end thereof in a cylinder which is secured to the body of the device, is connected to the discharge chamber and is oriented in relation to the discharge chamber, and the flow limiting means is secured to the fixed cylinder. |
