The present disclosure relates to 2,3-dihydroxypropyl 12-(7-nitrobenzo[1,2,3]oxadiazol-4-ylamino)dodecanoates and to a process for the preparation thereof. In particular, the process comprises reacting the intermediate obtained from the reaction of 12-aminolauric acid with 7-chloro-4 -nitrobenzo-2-oxa-1,3-diazole with 2,3-epoxypropanol in alcoholic solution at room temperature with addition of a base. |
