abstract |
Process and device for preparing a paste by mixing or kneading materials, in particular for producing aluminum production electrodes. The method comprises the following operations: a) introducing materials for mixing and kneading in a tank (31) having an inner surface extending along a substantially horizontal axis of revolution (X); b) driving the tank (31) into rotating around the axis of revolution (X) and pressing the materials by centrifugation against the inner surface of the tank (31), and c) loosening locally from the inner surface the centrifuged materials by the rotation of the tank (31) and drop them on a crumbling tool (40). |
