abstract |
There is provided an aerosol-generating device (10) comprising an electrical power supply (40), a cavity (14) for receiving at least part of an aerosol-generating article (50; 60), and at least one electrical heater (22) positioned within the cavity (14). The aerosol-generating device (10) further comprises a controller (42) configured to control a supply of electrical power from the electrical power supply (40) to the at least one electrical heater (22) to activate the at least one electrical heater (22). The controller (42) is configured to activate the at least one electrical heater (22) for a total time period when at least part of an aerosol-generating article (50; 60) is received within the cavity (14). The aerosol-generating device (10) also comprises a segmented visual feedback device (32), wherein a plurality of segments (34) of the segmented visual feedback device (32) each correspond to a portion of the total time period. Each of the plurality of segments (34) is configured to provide visual feedback when at least part of an aerosol-generating article (50; 60) is received within the cavity (14) and when the corresponding portion of the total time period has elapsed. |
