abstract | Triazolo-benzodiazepine derivs. of formula (I), and their acid-addn. salts and 5-oxides, are new: (where R1 is H or 1-3C alkyl; R2 and R3 are H, 1-6C alkyl, 2-6C hydroxyalkyl, 4-7C dialkylaminoalkyl or 7-9C aralkyl, or two alkyl gps. R2 and R3 can be joined together directly or in the beta- or gamma-posn. via O or NR (R = H or 1-4C alkylor hydroxyalkyl) to form a =10C divalent gp.; rings A and B are opt. substd. by F, Cl, Br, 1-6C alkyl, 1-6C alkoxy, CF3 or NO2). (I) have CNS depressant activity and can be used as tranquillizers, muscle relaxants and anticonvulsants. |
