titleOfInvention | Method and circuit for transferring regenerative braking energy of an asynchronous motor in the event of a disconnection of the power circuit |
abstract | In order to transfer the regenerative braking energy in the event of a disconnection of the power system, for example when the current collector (2) jumps, in a device with at least one four-quadrant actuator (8), with at least one current inverter (9) and with at least one intermediate circuit (C) the power stored in this intermediate circuit (C) is automatically fed to a damping resistor (R). A damping device (4) is connected on the primary side to the transformer (T). In the event of the current collector (2) jumping or in the event of another disconnection of the power system, the intermediate circuit voltage produces a voltage peak which is higher than the maximum power system voltage and which then fires for example a starter gap (5) of an overvoltage arrester or semiconductor in series with the damping resistor (R). At each voltage zero crossover the device switches itself off and can therefore be of very simple design. The subject matter of the invention is intended in particular for electrical railways driven by means of asynchronous motors (10). <IMAGE> |
