Synthetic polyamide is dyed in the mass by incorporation of a perinone or metallised azomethine dye of formula (I) or (II);- <IMAGE> Me is metal; R1 is phenylene, diphenylene, naphthylene or heterocyclic-fused naphthylene, each optionally bearing certain substituents; R2 is H or a substituent (defined); R4 completes a ring system (mono- or bicyclic, carbo- or heterocyclic, optionally substituted); and R3 is a divalent radical selected from:- <IMAGE> where R is H or (subst.) alkyl. |
