titleOfInvention Disposable insert for absorbing body fluids of incontinent children, etc. - has absorbent body with fluid impermeable coating which partially surrounds it, using water-repellent wax, paraffin and/or stearin
abstract The disposable insert, to absorb body fluids for very incontinent children and adults, has an absorbent body with a fluid impermeable coating which partially surrounds it, using a water-repellent wax, paraffin and/or stearin. The coating is applied directly to the absorbent body in a powder or by direct coating to a carrier. The carrier is a thin paper type of degradable material in a paper structure of 10-40 g/m2 and pref. 20 g/m2, using cellulose fibres and/or raw cotton. The coating is bonded to the paper carrier on one or both sides, with openings or gaps at specific points on the side towards the wearer. The coating is 20-100 microns thick, and pref. 40 microns with a setting point of 50-70 (pref. 60) deg.C at a depth of 1 mm. ADVANTAGE - The structure of the insert increases wearer comfort.
