| abstract |
One or more holes (16) are formed in each of the covering layers (14) of the cladding to allow passage of light through the translucent plastics core (12). The core can be of polyacrylate, while the cladding of steel or aluminium. Core and cladding thicknesses can be respectively 3 to 15 mm and 0.3 to 1 mm. The holes in the cladding can be opposite each other. |
