titleOfInvention Method and apparatus for recovery of bitumen from Strassenbelag- (asphalt) breakup.
abstract The process for the recovery of bitumen from road surface (asphalt) break-up is characterized by the separation of the bitumen from the other components of the road surface, especially stone material (minerals), by means of hot salt bath (molten salt). For this purpose, the device for carrying out this method comprises a heatable, preferably channel-shaped basin (1) for receiving and liquefying a nitritin-free, heat-conducting salt with a low melting point, preferably a mixture of LiNO 3 / KNO 3 (lithium nitrate / potassium nitrate), for the preparation of a molten salt ( 2). Further, the basin (1) supply means (3, 4) for the road surface departure upstream with a predetermined refractive power. Next is in the basin (1) a screw conveyor (5) for transporting the road surface break through the molten salt (2) and at the end of the passage of the basin (1) Abraummittel (6) for skimming and forwarding of the stone material of the departure and arranged on the molten salt floating bitumen (8) and at the end of the passage of the basin (1) discharge (7) for the sunken in the molten salt bitumen stone material (9). These measures make it possible to recover almost 100% bitumen from the overburden asphalt.
