Device comprises: a transition metal-containing catalyst mounted on a particle filter (5); and a molecular sieve which holds back the polychlorinated dibenzodioxins (PCDD) and polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDF), where: the molecular sieve is added between the transition metal containing catalyst and the exhaust gas on purified gas side; and the inflow side of the molecular sieve and/or the device upstream to the molecular sieve exhibit an oxidation activity for hydrocarbons, and/or polychlorinated dibenzodioxins and polychlorinated dibenzofurans. |
