| abstract | The invention discloses a method for extracting a roselle extractive and application thereof in cigarettes as well as cigarettes. The extracting method comprises the following steps of: (1) crushing dry roselle calyxes obtained by pre-treating roselle calyxes to a particle size of 150-420 microns so as to obtain roselle powder; and (2) taking the roselle powder obtained in the step (1), and extracting according to a mass ratio of ethanol to the roselle powder of (0.05-15) :1 for 10-180 min at room temperature to 70 DEG C to obtain the roselle extractive. The application of the roselle extractive in the cigarettes is that the roselle extractive obtained by using the extracting method is diluted by using a non-toxic organic solvent without irritating smells and sprayed on the surfaces of flue-cured tobacco leaves. In the cigarettes, the roselle extractive extracted according to the extracting method is added. By using the invention, the smoking quality of the cigarettes can be largely improved, the mouthfeel of the cigarettes can be improved, and values and significances of actual production can be obtained. |
