abstract The invention discloses a pixel electrode and a liquid crystal display array substrate. The pixel electrode comprises four parts which are divided from a centre area along the horizontal direction and the vertical direction and respectively comprise a plurality of strip branches, wherein the adjacent strip branches in the plurality of strip branches are separated by a gap; the plurality of strip branches are extended outwardly relative to the centre area; and the strip branches on the adjoining parts of the four parts are mutually connected to form a crisscross connection part extending in the vertical direction and a crisscross connection part extending in the horizontal direction, and make the strip branches communicated mutually. The main part in the pixel electrode structure can be removed, so that the aperture opening ratio is improved; and the strip branches on the adjoining parts of the four parts in the pixel electrode can effectively restrain black streaks on the parts in an alternate arrangement manner.
