abstract The invention relates to a triphenylamine-bridged bipyridine ruthenium complex photosensitive dye with a unilateral asymmetric structure and a preparation method thereof. Under the protection of N 2 , add the corresponding dye ligand, dichlorobis(4-methylisopropylphenyl) ruthenium (II) and N,N-dimethylformamide to the reactor, under the dark, control React at 70-90°C for 3-8 hours, then add 4,4'-dicarboxy-2,2'-bipyridine and heat up to reflux for 3-6 hours; add ammonium thiocyanate to continue reflux for 4-6 hours 12 hours. The crude product obtained after the post-treatment of the reaction solution is separated by Sephadex gel chromatography to obtain the photosensitizing dye. The energy level of the dye is suitable for electron injection and regeneration of the oxidized dye, and the photoelectric conversion efficiency of the sensitized solar cell prepared with the synthesized dye reaches 7.57%-8.18%. The preparation and photoelectric property research of the triphenylamine-bridged bipyridine ruthenium complex photosensitive dye with unilateral asymmetric structure has important theoretical and practical significance for the research of dye-sensitized solar cells.
