| abstract | The invention provides a concentration method of yam saponin slurry before acidolysis. The concentration method includes the steps of after yam is washed and crushed, separating the yam through a physical method to obtain crude fibers and low-concentration yam saponin slurry; and adding a filter aid into the slurry, subjecting the slurry to filtration and concentration by utilizing a plate-and-frame filter press, and improving the amount of solid to above 10wt%. According to the method, the crude fibers produced by the yam can be made into a plant filter aid which is added into the yam saponin slurry, the plate-and-frame filter press is adopted to perform filtration and concentration, and the saponin content of acidolysis slurry is improved; and efficient concerntration of saponin in the yam slurry is achieved and amounts of acid and acidic black liquor are reduced on the premise of no saponin loss. |
