abstract The invention relates to the field of burners, in particular to a preheating method and a device of a gas burner. The method comprises the following steps of waste heat recovery: heat of smoke in a flue and a chimney of a heating furnace is recovered to preheat air and gas, and partial heat of the smoke is transferred to the air and the gas, and transferring: the gas and the air absorbing the heat are transferred into a mixing chamber of the burner. The device comprises a gas heat conduction pipe, an air heat conduction pipe and a flange plate, wherein the gas heat conduction pipe and the air heat conduction pipe are arranged in the chimney and the flue of the heating furnace respectively. According to the preheating method and the device of the gas burner, the heat of the smoke is recovered by using the gas heat conduction pipe and the air heat conduction pipe; the preheating is conducted before the gas and partial air enter the mixing chamber, so that the temperature of the mixed gas entering the mixing chamber is raised; the heat of the mixing chamber is transferred to the gas and the air, so that the heat energy waste is reduced, and the heat efficiency is improved.
