The name of the present invention is: temperature-resistant silicone resin. Presented are methods and formulations of modified silicone resins of formula (I); R 1 , R 2 and R 3 are each independently selected from H, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, and aryl; n is in the range of 1 to 10; m is in the range of 1 to 200; and p is in the range of 2 to 1,000. Elastomeric materials prepared from modified silicone resins exhibit robust mechanical properties after prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures (eg, 316°C or higher). |
