titleOfInvention A system for optimally generating call center services in a mixed operating environment
abstract The present invention discloses a system and method for optimally generating call center services in a hybrid operating environment. A handler in the first operating environment receives a message communicated by a first call center resource associated with a call center service. The message is further sent to the processor by an edge device, the edge device being arranged in a second operating environment different from the first operating environment. The border device is configured to hide the identification of the location of the call center resource from the message. Notwithstanding the above concealment, the processor may identify the location of the first call center resource based on identification information retrieved by the processor from the message. The processor selects a second call center resource to provide a call center service according to the identified location of the first call center resource.
