The present invention is entitled "Semiconductor Display Device and Driving Method Thereof". An object is to provide a semiconductor display device having a touch panel capable of reducing power consumption. A semiconductor display device includes: a panel equipped with a pixel portion and a driver circuit controlling input of an image signal to the pixel portion; and a touch panel provided in a position overlapping the panel in the pixel portion. The pixel portion includes a display element configured to perform display in accordance with the voltage of an image signal to be input, and a transistor configured to control holding of the voltage. The transistor includes an oxide semiconductor in a channel formation region. The drive frequency of the driver circuit, that is, the number of write operations of an image signal of a certain period is changed in accordance with an operation signal from the touch panel. |
