titleOfInvention Method for preventing and treating soft rot of sweet potatoes
abstract The invention discloses a method for preventing and treating soft rot of sweet potatoes. The method comprises the following specific steps: timely harvesting the sweet potatoes on sunny days; rejecting ill, incomplete and rotten sweet potatoes and the like, and in the rejecting process, classifying the sweet potatoes; performing wound healing treatment on the sweet potatoes with wounds; selecting a new cellar for storing the sweet potatoes as much as possible, and fumigating an old cellar with sulfur, wherein the using amount of the sulfur is 20g/m2; storing the wound-free sweet potatoes and the wound-healed sweet potatoes with the wounds in the storage cellar with the storage temperature of 10-15 DEG C, and ventilating the storage cellar by using an exhaust fan in the first month after the sweet potatoes enter the storage cellar; in winter, due to reduction in the environmental temperature, sealing a ventilating opening; in the later storage period, namely after the beginning of spring, often checking the temperature inside the cellar. By the method, the soft rot of the sweet potatoes in the storage period is effectively avoided, and the economic benefits of farmers are increased in a disguised form.
