abstract The present invention provides a semiconductor laser device in which positional displacement of various components, particularly a wavelength conversion section, in the semiconductor laser device is reliably fixed while being controlled to a minimum. The semiconductor laser device has a base (11); a semiconductor laser element (12); a lid (13) provided above the base and having a through hole (13C) at the bottom of a recess (13D) provided above the lid; a holding part (14) which is arranged in the recess, has a through hole (14C) with a diameter smaller than that of the through hole of the cover part above the through hole of the cover part, and has a thermal expansion coefficient different from that of the cover part; a wavelength conversion section (15) held by the through hole of the holding section; and a pressing part (16) fixed to the lid part and pressing the upper surface of the holding part, wherein the side surface of the recess is separated from the side surface of the holding part, and a buffer (17) is arranged at least partially between the side surface of the recess and the side surface of the holding part.
