titleOfInvention | Method for treating chili pepper seeds by utilizing plasma technology |
abstract | A method for treating chili pepper seeds by utilizing a plasma technology comprises the following steps of: selecting chili pepper seeds, air-drying, collecting dust, carrying out ultrasonic washing, acting by utilizing an electric field, drying, carrying out plasma treatment, carrying out ultraviolet radiation, soaking by utilizing a chemical agent, and forming coating layers. After the seeds are treated by the method, the growth mechanism of the embryonic cells of the seeds can be activated, bacteria and viruses which are attached to the surfaces of the seeds are eliminated, the disease resisting capability of the seeds in the growth period is improved, the photosynthesis of crops is enhanced, and the yield is improved. The chili pepper seeds are placed between two polar plates of a plasma generator, the activity of the seeds is improved again through certain-time and certain-strength plasma treatment, and the purpose of increasing the yield of the crops is achieved during production. Compared with common seeds which are not subjected to plasma treatment, the yield is improved by 8-12%; and at the same time, seedlings sprout in advance, and the evenness is higher. |
