A power controller for a hybrid vehicle, comprising: a first drive motor (2, 5), wherein the first drive motor (2, 5) drives any one of a front wheel (4) and a rear wheel (6) of a vehicle (1). one; an engine (3), the engine (3) drives one of the front and rear wheels of the vehicle or the other corresponding wheel through the clutch (8); a generator (11), which is driven by the engine (3) ) drive; and a transformer (18) which steps down the generated electrical power supplied from the generator (11) to the first drive motors (2, 5) and the battery (20). The power controller limits the passing power of the transformer according to the temperature of the transformer, and when the passing power of the transformer is limited, the clutch is connected. |
