Described is a composition for use as an adhesive for bonding a fabric, such as cotton, to a rubber substrate, such as a base sheet comprising EPDM, the composition comprising at least the following: (A) having greater than or equal to 30 g/m 10 minute (g/10min) functionalized halogenated olefin polymer with melt index (12, 190°C/2.16); (B) tackifier; and/or (B') having 0.855 to 0.900 g/cc (g/cc) density and weight average molecular weight (Mw) less than or equal to 60,000 g/mol olefin polymer. |
