| abstract |
Systems and methods for operating a first vehicle hotspot at a vehicle. The first vehicle hotspot operates to provide wireless connectivity to one or more wireless devices located in or near the vehicle. The method is performed by a vehicle and includes the steps of: detecting one or more operating channels occupied by one or more other hotspots; selecting an operating channel for a first vehicle hotspot according to a hotspot coordination strategy; and configuring the first vehicle hotspot to use the selected operating channel, thereby allowing the one or more wireless devices to connect to the first vehicle hotspot via wireless communication on the selected operating channel. |
