A method of treating hydrophobically modified textiles with an aqueous solution of a nuclease enzyme, preferably a DNase or ribonuclease enzyme, rinsing and drying the textiles is disclosed. Use of a finishing step for improved cleaning with an aqueous solution of a nuclease, preferably a deoxyribonuclease or ribonuclease. |
