abstract The invention provides a refrigerator system capable of operating a refrigerator efficiently. The refrigerator system includes: an upstream-side refrigerator having a 1 st compressor that compresses a refrigerant, a 1 st condenser that condenses the refrigerant compressed by the 1 st compressor, and a 1 st evaporator that evaporates the refrigerant condensed by the 1 st condenser to cool cold water; a downstream refrigerator having a 2 nd compressor for compressing a refrigerant, a 2 nd condenser for condensing the refrigerant compressed by the 2 nd compressor, and a 2 nd evaporator for evaporating the refrigerant condensed by the 2 nd condenser to cool cold water passing through the 1 st evaporator; and an upper control device for controlling the operation of the upstream-side refrigerator and the downstream-side refrigerator. The 1 st compressor is a transmission, and the 2 nd compressor is a constant speed machine.
