The present invention relates to solid electrolyte materials and fluoride ion batteries. The main object of the present disclosure is to provide a solid electrolyte material with high fluoride ion conductivity. In the present disclosure, the above problems are solved by providing a solid electrolyte material, which is a solid electrolyte material for fluoride ion batteries, having Bi x M 1-x F 2+x (0.4≤x≤ 0.9, M is a composition of at least one selected from Sn, Ca, Sr, Ba, and Pb), and has a crystal phase of a bastnasite-type structure. |
