titleOfInvention | Intake valve of internal combustion engine |
abstract | The invention provides an intake valve of an internal combustion engine, which can reduce deposits adhered or accumulated on the surface even if a step part exists at a position where the deposits are likely to be accumulated. An intake valve (10) that is provided in an intake port of a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine and opens and closes between an intake passage and the combustion chamber has a stepped portion (14) that changes the angle of inclination of an umbrella-shaped inclined portion (12) on the umbrella-shaped inclined portion (12), and the umbrella-shaped inclined portion (12) has an inclination that gradually widens from a valve shaft portion (11) that reciprocates in the axial direction toward a valve seal portion (13) that contacts an intake port seal portion in the combustion chamber. An oil-repellent coating (20) for leveling the step of the step section (14) is formed on at least a part of the umbrella-shaped inclined section (12) including the step section (14). |
