titleOfInvention | Method for separating manganese from magnesium chloride |
abstract | The invention provides a method for separating manganese from magnesium chloride, which comprises the following steps: step 1): adding a magnesium chloride feed liquid containing manganese into a reaction kettle, adding alkali, and stirring the feed liquid at the temperature of 40-80 ℃; step 2): introducing oxygen or air into the feed liquid to enable the feed liquid to be oxidized and precipitated; step 3): adding a hydrochloric acid solution into the reaction kettle, and adjusting the pH of the material to 6-7; step 4): filtering the feed liquid obtained in the step 3), washing a filter cake with water, draining, and drying the filter cake at the temperature of 50-60 ℃ under reduced pressure to obtain the manganese metahydroxide. The method comprises the steps of adding alkali into a magnesium chloride solution, and introducing oxygen or air to enable manganese ions in the solution to form manganese metahydroxide precipitate so as to be recovered. The method does not introduce other impurity ions and has no secondary pollution, and the manganese and the magnesium can be completely separated, wherein the content of manganese ions in the separated magnesium chloride is less than 2ppm, and the content of manganese metahydroxide reaches 99.0%. |
