abstract |
The present invention provides a combustion system and method of operating a combustion system including an electrostatic precipitator, an optional flue gas desulfurizer, and a temperature swing adsorption gas separator for post-combustion emissions reduction. The very low pressure steam stream can be used as the first regeneration stream for the temperature swing adsorption gas separator, wherein the very low pressure steam stream can be selectively recovered from the very low pressure steam turbine or auxiliary boiler. A fluid stream at a suitable temperature for regenerating at least one adsorbent material in a temperature swing adsorbent gas separator may be used as the second regeneration stream, wherein the fluid stream may be optionally sourced from an electrostatic precipitator, an oxidant preheater or Auxiliary heater regained. |
