abstract The present invention relates to a low-temperature water vapor shift catalyst and a new method for its preparation. The catalyst carrier is Ce-Zr composite metal oxide, and the active component is Au. The molar ratio of Ce to Zr is 0.2-5, and the loading of Au is 0.5-2%. The catalyst is applied in the low temperature water-steam shift reaction, especially under the condition of high space velocity, it shows excellent catalytic activity, which is better than the traditional CuZn/Al 2 O 3 catalyst.
