abstract | The invention provides attapulgite/phosphorus-containing polyacrylate composite emulsion and a preparation method thereof. The invention synthesizes the phosphorus-containing polyacrylate emulsion, and introduces double-bond functionalized attapulgite into the phosphorus-containing polyacrylate emulsion through sulfydryl-alkene click chemical reaction to prepare the attapulgite/phosphorus-containing polyacrylate composite emulsion. The burning rate of the leather sample after the ATP/phosphorus-containing polyacrylate composite emulsion is coated is 0.016mm/s, the limiting oxygen index is 29.4 percent, and the maximum smoke density is 5.62 percent. Compared with the leather sample after being coated with the pure polyacrylate emulsion, the combustion rate and the maximum smoke density of the leather sample after being coated with the ATP/phosphorus-containing polyacrylate composite emulsion are respectively reduced by 80.49% and 81.68%, the limited oxygen index is improved by 60.66%, and the flame retardant property is obviously improved. |
