Articles of footwear and methods of making articles of footwear comprising one or more continuous threads wrapped around anchor points. One or more continuous threads are wound to form a thread pattern that imparts desired properties to the components of the article of footwear. Rows of wire patterns can be joined together. In some embodiments, the wire arrays may be joined with a tie layer. |
