abstract The invention discloses a carbon dioxide gas shielded flux-cored welding wire for wear-resistant surfacing repair and a preparation method thereof, which is composed of a steel outer skin and a powdered powder core. The powdered powder core includes the following components: 5-10wt% rutile, high-carbon ferrochromium 40‑60wt%, sprayed ferrosilicon powder 5‑12wt%, ferrotitanium powder 2‑5wt%, fluoride 1‑4wt%, ferromanganese powder 2‑8wt%, ferromolybdenum 7‑20wt%, nickel powder 1‑5wt% , 10-20wt% of metallic chromium, 2-7wt% of quartz sand, 2-10wt% of ferrovanadium, 3-10wt% of tungsten powder, and the balance of iron powder, totaling 100wt%. Compared with the existing ones, the present invention can be used for the repair of gears, buckets and mining machinery.
