At least one transition structural component (140) is positioned radially inwardly from the tangential transition plate (124) and includes a first inclined plate (144) and a second inclined plate (146) having a connection To the first end (144A) of the first radial plate (150), the second inclined plate (146) has a first end (146A) connected to the second radial plate (152). As in other aspects, an extrusion die configured for making a honeycomb structure is provided.
