abstract |
An electric linear motor (5), an elevator (100) and a method for controlling the rotation of a mover (20) relative to a stator beam (16) are proposed. The electric linear motor (5) comprises a plurality of stator beams (16), wherein at least one of them comprises a stator (17) extending in a longitudinal direction (18) of the beams (16). The motor (5) further comprises a plurality of movers (20), wherein at least one of them comprises an armature (22), wherein each armature (22) is adapted to establish an electromagnetic coupling with a respective stator (17) for moving the movers (20). The motor (5) further comprises an air gap adjustment device for adjusting the movement of the mover (20) relative to the stator beam (16), wherein the device comprises a guide element (71-73, 81) arranged for limiting the rotation of the mover (20) relative to the stator beam (16). |
