abstract | The invention relates to a corrosion-resistant automobile aluminum-based composite material and a preparation method thereof. The aluminum-based composite material is prepared from silicon nitride whiskers, basic magnesium sulfate whiskers, gadolinium, yttrium, tungsten and titanium tin carbon. According to the invention, the basic magnesium sulfate whisker and the titanium tin carbon are added into the aluminum-based material, so that the corrosion resistance of the aluminum-based composite material is respectively improved, the aluminum-based composite material can better meet the application requirements under outdoor complex environments, and particularly, the service life of a vehicle carrier is greatly prolonged. The raw materials of the invention are sufficient in China and proper in price, so that the large-scale production of the invention is not limited by too high cost; meanwhile, the preparation method is simple and can easily meet the requirements of an industrial production line. |
