abstract The invention discloses a preparation method and an application method of a light self-cleaning, fluorine-free and waterproof multifunctional nano sol, and relates to the field of functional nano materials. Dissolving titanate and siloxane precursor in ethanol to form uniform and transparent yellow solution A; adjusting the pH of the distilled water to 0.5-1 by using acid, and adding a small amount of nonionic surfactant to obtain a solution B; dropwise adding the solution A into the solution B while stirring, adding a small amount of rare earth metal salt modifier, and stirring for 4-8 h at the temperature of 50-90 ℃ to obtain the off-white sol. The off-white sol prepared by the method is diluted by 3-5 times, sprayed on any solid surface, and naturally dried, so that most of bacteria, microorganisms, organic pollutants and partial inorganic matters adhered to the surface can be degraded under the condition of visible light illumination, and a waterproof layer can be formed at room temperature to realize a waterproof function.
