The invention discloses an Escherichia coli strain and a method for biosynthesizing pyranocoumarin and furanocoumarin, the strain is Escherichia coli BL21 (DE3) containing genes related to benzopyran biosynthesis; The benzopyran biosynthesis-related genes include at least one of ximD and ximE genes. In the present invention, FAD-dependent monooxygenase XimD and cyclase XimE are introduced into Escherichia coli, and pyranocoumarin and furanocoumarin are produced in Escherichia coli by inducing expression of these two genes and adding substrates at the same time. The present invention realizes the biosynthesis of furanocoumarin and pyranocoumarin in microorganisms for the first time. |
