| abstract | The invention discloses a cooking utensil, which comprises a pot body, a cover body, a cover body opening and closing mechanism, a steam generating device and a linkage mechanism. When the cover body covers the pot body, a cooking space is formed therebetween. The cover opening and closing mechanism is used to lock the cover in the closed position or release it to the open position. The steam generating device is arranged on the cover body and includes a steam generating chamber, a steam channel and a steam cover plate. The steam generating chamber is used for accommodating water to be heated to generate steam, and the steam passage communicates the steam generating chamber and the cooking space to introduce the steam into the cooking space. The steam cover plate is connected to the cover body, and can be opened and closed relative to the steam generation chamber to open or cover the steam generation chamber. A linkage mechanism is disposed in the lid and is configured to act on the lid opening and closing mechanism to lock the lid in the closed position in response to opening of the steam lid. The cooking utensil according to the present invention can lock the cover body in the closed position when the steam cover plate is opened, so that the liquid in the steam generating chamber can be prevented from flowing out. |
