The catalyst comprises an activated carbon carrier and a metal component supported on the carrier, the metal component is composed of Cu element and X, Y, Z, W elements, and the X, Y, Z, W elements are selected from Fe, Four kinds of metal elements in Mn, Zn, K, Ca, Sn, Ni, Co, Cr, Al, in which the loading amount of copper element is 10-30wt%, and the respective loading amount of X, Y, Z, W four metal elements 10-30wt% respectively; the preparation method of the catalyst includes: preparing the salt of each metal element into a precursor mixed solution, mixing the precursor mixed solution and the activated carbon carrier, and then adding it to a vortex oscillator for vibration treatment, and the obtained mixture The conventional impregnation treatment is then carried out, and then the catalyst is calcined at 250-500 DEG C under a nitrogen atmosphere to obtain a catalyst for acetylene hydrochlorination.
